Our History
Our beginning in the insurance business began as a captive agent in 1994.
In 2001, AmeriTrust Insurance Services was formed as an independent agency.
In 2014 we became affiliated with TWFG Insurance Services as a “Branch”and we became “TWFG Andrews Insurance“. This enabled us to offer out clients an even broader range of coverage’s while still remaining independent.
The transition to an independent agency has enabled us to offer more competitive rates over the long term. This helped us retain customers whose rates would sometimes go up for reasons that were completely outside their control. As an independent agent we are able to shop insurance coverage’s with over 300 insurance providers.
Another key benefit of being an independent agency is the autonomy to provide our clients the coverage that they actually need without having the outside pressure to sell products to meet specific sales quotas. As an independent agency, we can provide advice that is truly unbiased and objective because there is no parent company dictating to us what our clients need to purchase.
